Caring Dairy
When you think about it, Ben & Jerry’s wouldn’t be Ben & Jerry’s if it weren’t for the family farms supplying the high quality dairy ingredients we depend on. For over 20 years, the 500-plus family farmers of the St. Albans Cooperative Creamery in Vermont have been our
partners and primary suppliers of milk and cream. And since 1993, they've pledged to supply us with dairy from cows that have not been treated with the genetically-engineered hormone, rBGH.
The Co-op is also an integral partner in our Caring Dairy™ program, a unique program that's helping farmers move toward more sustainable practices on the farm.
