Donation Guidelines
for Events Outside of Vermont
Our donations will no longer be actual ice cream. Due to changes within our distribution system, we no longer have the manpower to coordinate actual donations of product. What we will be able to provide are free pint coupons. We recommend that these be used as a thank you for volunteers or raffle items to help raise money for your charity.
The maximum number of coupons donated to any one event will be 50, however the majority of events receive between 10 and 25 free pint coupons. Due to our limited budget and desire to help as many organizations as possible, we may not be able to fill your entire request. if you require the exact number of coupons you requested, please indicate that in your application.
If you require an ice cream donation, we suggest you contact your local Scoop Shop.
Each shop is locally owned, with its own policies and procedures. The scoopers love to be involved in events going on in their communities; give them a call! You can find the nearest Scoop Shop in our Shop Locator right here.
Review our guidelines
Your request must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Your organization is a not-for-profit with a 501(c)(3) status, a school, or municipality.
- The donation is for an event-based program.
- Your event has a specific date.
- We receive your request at least six weeks in advance.
- We have not supported your event in the past 12 months.
Please bear in mind that we always get more requests for donations than we can support. Even if you meet our requirements, we unfortunately cannot guarantee fulfillment on all requests. If we are unable to help you out this time, please think of us for future events.
