We recently invited a group of VIP food bloggers to visit our headquarters in Vermont and get the Inside Scoop Experience. While they were here, they collaborated on some exciting new recipes. This one comes courtesy of Foodbeast, Junk Banter, and EatingNYC.
- 1 pint of Ben & Jerry’s One Love ice cream
- 8 donut holes
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- Confetti sprinkles
- Chocolate sauce
- 1 banana
- 5 chocolate sandwich cookies
- Whipped cream or whipped frosting
- 2 10” wooden skewers
Using a butter knife, spread a layer of peanut butter around the rim of a small trifle-style ice cream dish. Then coat the peanut butter with confetti sprinkles.
Gently crumble three donut holes and place them in the bottom of the dish. This will be the first layer of your trifle sundae.
Peel and cut a banana into 1/2 inch slices, then place the slices on top of the crumbled donut holes. Cover the banana layer with a layer of whipped cream or whipped frosting. Next, crush 5 chocolate sandwich cookies and sprinkle them on top to create another layer.
Microwave 1/4 cup of peanut butter for 30 seconds, until it’s just smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Place three heaping scoops of Ben & Jerry’s One Love ice cream on top of the chocolate sandwich cookie layer, then drizzle chocolate sauce and the warmed peanut butter on top. Finally, take the wooden skewers and stack them with donut holes and bananas, alternating. Place the decked out skewers in your Whole Lotta Love Trifle Sundae and enjoy!
