Ben & Jerry’s No Fat Frozen Yogurt Arrives Coast-to-Coast

Three New Super-premium Flavors Ready to Balance the Universe

Waterbury, VT: Ben & Jerry’s is bringing balance to the frozen dessert universe with its three new flavors of superpremium No Fat Frozen Yogurt. Cappuccino, Strawberry and Vanilla Fudge are now available coast-to-coast.

“In these times of chaos and confusion, it’s good to know that there is balance. Some days you don’t want fat...some days you do. Ben & Jerry’s serves your yin and your yang,” said Co-founder Ben Cohen.

The no fat flavor trio are all natural yogurts. Cappuccino is a smooth coffee flavor with just a hint of chocolate. Strawberry is studded with strawberries throughout. Vanilla Fudge is rippled with rich swirls of chocolatey fudge.

“If you are concerned about no fat but no taste - no problemo - our new no fat yogurts taste great!” exclaimed Co-founder Jerry Greenfield, as he shoveled in a heaping spoonful.

“Months of top secret research and testing went into the new no fat frozen yogurt flavors,” said Peter Lind, Ben & Jerry’s Primal Ice Cream Therapist. “With the addition of no-fat frozen yogurt to our product line, we have brought some humble balance to the freezer case.” All three flavors are made with four live yogurt cultures: L. Acidophilus, L. Bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus and Bifidus.

Ben & Jerry’s distributes ice cream and frozen yogurt products in all 50 states and in England. There are over 120 franchised scoop shops in 19 states plus Washington, D.C. Ben & Jerry’s has a joint venture (ICEVERKS) in Karelia, Russia and a licensee in Israel. There are six franchised scoop shops in Canada.
