TOURS FAQ's: Q. Do we get ice cream samples on the tour? A. Yes-one sample of the flavor of the day Q. How long is the tour? A. 30 minutes Q. Do we have to wait in line for the tour? A. No-there is a specified time on the ticket you purchased which saves you a spot on the tour. Q. Do we get to see the production room floor? A. Yes from our glassed-in mezzanine Q. Is the Flavor Graveyard part of the tour? A. No, it is located in the upper field past the playground area from late-May through October Q. Is it cold on the tour? Will we be in a refrigerator? A. It is room temperature on tour Q. Can we take a stroller on the tour? A. Yes-you can use the elevator Q. Is there a lot of walking on the tour? A. Tour route takes you upstairs to the theater, onto the mezzanine and then back downstairs to the Flavoroom. Q. Can we take ice cream on the tour? A. Yes Q. Can we take pictures? A. Yes, everywhere EXCEPT the glassed-in mezzanine-NO photo zone! Q. What if you are not making ice cream-what do we see? A. It’s the same tour except you will not see the product and production workers on the manufacturing floor- Your tour guide will narrate a video to explain the process Q. Do we still get a sample if you are not making ice cream? A. You sure do! |

RESERVATIONS FAQ's: Q. Can we make reservations for less than 10 people? A. No, reservations are made for groups of 10 or more only Q. Can we pick up tickets before the reserved date of the tour? A. No-tickets must be purchased on the same day they will be used Q. What is the latest tour we can reserve? A. 30 minutes prior to the last tour of the day. i.e. 5:00 tour is the last of the day-reservations no later than 4:30 tour. Q. Do you offer group rates? A. No, but bus drivers and escorts are offered complimentary tour admission Q. Do you offer nonprofit group discounts? A. Yes, for 501c3 groups tour admission is $1.50 over age 12 Q. Discounts for student groups? A. Yes-for grades 7-12 students are $1.50 over age 12 Q. Do we have to pay in advance? A. No. Payment is made upon arrival by cash, check or credit card Q. What if we are running late-can we take the tour when we get there? A. We require groups to arrive 15 minutes prior to the reserved tour time. If the group does not arrive and has not called to let us know they are running late we will sell their tickets to the next people in line and accommodate the group once they have arrived on the next available tour-pls note this could be a 10 minute wait or up to a 2 hour wait depending on the time of year. Q. How much time should we plan on being there? A. Plan to be on site for about 1.5 hours. Q. Do you have a cafeteria? A. No but during the warmer months you are welcome to picnic on the grounds-we have a large tent by the playground in addition to seating around the grassy areas |
