How to Become Ben & Jerry's Franchisee
As soon as we receive your initial inquiry, (and it’s for a market that we are currently interested in expanding in), we’ll contact you to schedule an introductory call to make sure that we’re a good potential match.
After that, you’ll need to complete an application and send it to us, and, if we like what we see, we’ll continue with a few more phone calls designed to help you get to know us better, and for us to get to know you.
We'll also send you our current Franchise Disclosure Document to read through, and we’ll invite you to learn, first-hand from our Franchisees, what it’s like to be part of our community. Through phone calls with Franchisees and eventually a personal visit with a Franchisee, we’ll give you every opportunity to explore the business.
When we are all good and acquainted, and we are both mutually enthusiastic about moving forward, the last step is a visit to our headquarters in Vermont for a personal interview – you interview us, and we interview you.
Within a day of visiting Vermont, the interviewing team at Ben & Jerry’s Franchising will decide if you are the right match for us; and, likewise, you should be able to make a decision on whether or not Ben & Jerry’s is perfect for you.
If we extend an offer to become a Ben & Jerry’s Franchisee, and you decide to join our franchise network, you will need to sign a Preliminary Agreement within 30 days of your formal approval. And then the fun really begins!
