You may have seen some cool looking flavors on Good Morning America Thursday morning (October 5th). These flavors were the five finalists in our 2006 Do Us A Flavor Contest culminating with the contest finals celebrated in Vermont October 5th and 6th. These one-time flavors were featured on Good Morning America and specially created for our contest celebration days October 5th and 6th. They are not available in our Scoop Shops, supermarkets or grocery stores. The flavor creations become part of our "you-never-know-what-can-happen" corner of our creative freezer. While they may never make it into our flavor line-up, they certainly add some tasty possibilities to the "you-never-know-what-can-happen" category.

The finalists:

• Robin Thorneycroft, 25, of Richmond, B.C., who suggested a flavor she calls Italian Renaissance, made of amaretto liqueur ice cream, cherry chunks and sliced almonds.
• Timothy Link, 36, of Troy, Idaho, whose suggestion was Mojito, a lime-based sherbet with mint, brown sugar and rum added in.
• Kerstin Karlhuber, 25, of Boston, whose Wackie Chan would be sweet cream and ginger-flavored ice cream, with chocolate-covered fortune cookie bits and fudge swirl.
• Reina Chilton, 26, of Tempe, Ariz., who recommended "ApricotAbra," a mix of apricot chunks, dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream and tart apricot preserves.
