Ice Cream Sandwiches are awesome. They’re these little self-contained pockets of deliciousness whose sole purpose is to bring frozen delights to our mouths. Sure, spoons and cones do the same thing. But there’s something cool about holding ice cream with both hands and taking a big old bite.
Don’t believe us? Follow these simple steps to make an ice cream sandwich of your own and remind yourself why you loved them as a kid.
What You'll Need:
- Cookies. Big ones.
- A pint of your favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor.
- A sharp knife.
Place 2 cookies on the plate, bottom side facing up.
Pick up the knife. Please, for the love of dairy, grab it by the handle.
Turn pint on its side. We suggest flavor name up, so you don’t forget how awesome it’s going to be.
Hold the pint firmly, and slice. You can make it as thin or as thick as you like.
Put sandwich slice on cookie.
Place the second cookie on top.
Remove pint wrapper. Our teeth can rip through paper, but that doesn’t mean we should do it.
