Karamel Sutra Core Lava Cakes


  • 1 pint Ben & Jerry’s Karamel Sutra Core ice cream, melted
  • 1/4 cup Dutch processed cocoa
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 6 caramel-filled chocolate candies
  • Whipped cream and caramel sauce, optional garnish
  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 375° F. Spray 6 standard-sized ramekins with non-stick spray and place on a baking sheet. Combine all the ingredients except the candies and garnishes in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

    Scoop the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins. Push 1 caramel-filled candy into the center of each cup, making sure to cover it completely with batter. Bake the cakes for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for 3-5 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    To serve, run a knife around the edge of each cake and invert onto a serving plate. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
