The Core Tour scoop truck might be the new kid on the block in Miami, but we’re in good company! Food trucks have been zooming through the Miami streets for years, and because us trucks have got to stick together, our crew hit as many as we could yesterday—out of solidarity, of course…
Here’s our roundup of the five most nom-worthy food trucks in Miami.
The pink and black truck you see roaming the streets is ubiquitous with the food truck scene here in Miami -- and after a bite of their burger, it’s easy to see why. Don’t worry, we won’t tell if you go back for seconds.
What you’re getting: The Beast—a juicy patty comprised of 80% sirloin and 20% chorizo, topped with delicious pulled pork, caramelized onions, cheese and roasted pimento mayo.
Nearing three years on the streets of Miami, Boba Station has become a staple of Miami food truck gatherings. For those unfamiliar, Boba drinks contain sweet, chewy tapioca pearls, also known as “bubbles," giving the drink it’s popular nickname, “bubble tea."
What you’re getting: The mango Morir Soñando with Passion Fruit Pop pearls. Bubbles abound in this tea—trust us.
This blue and white truck is bringing Argentine cuisine to the Miami masses. Items like traditional Argentinian barbecue steak and hand made empanadas mean you’re safe with any menu selection.
What you’re getting: The Lomito Sandwich— thinly sliced churrasco steak, mozzarella cheese, ham, friend egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, topped with a squeeze of Che Grill’s gourmet sauce.
Words like Paleo, local, free-range, and organic are plastered all over this truck, making it obvious that Miguel Kristaly, the brains behind The Health Nut, is serious about serving ‘real food’ to the masses.
What you’re getting: The Paleo Salmon—our truck team tried it, and it’s definitely Core Tour approved! Enjoy a side of salad and veggies for a balanced meal.
Known more colloquially as ‘So Freakin’ Tasty,’ Slow Food serves up fresh, local and seasonal fare. Boasting accolades like ‘Top 8 Food Truck in Miami’ on Thrillist and ‘2013 Best Food Truck of Broward Palm Beach,’ these guys have definitely earned their spot in our food truck fleet.
What you’re getting: Beef Short rib Sandwich—braised beef, crispy shallots, live watercress, cheese, and au jus. Add an order of truffle fries if you’re feeling especially ravenous.
Food trucks: because everyone needs a safe space to chow. Cheers to Miami for your excellent selection!
