Two Exclusive Flavors For The Dallas Chipotle Cultivate Festival
For the final Cultivate Festival, scheduled this weekend in Dallas, Texas, our Flavor Gurus created two exceptional, very limited-batch flavors for our fans:
Bourbon Pecan Pie: Buttery Bourbon Ice Cream with Pecans, Shortbread Cookie Pieces & a Whisky Caramel Swirl
Bar-B-Que Peach: Ancho Peach Ice Cream with Peaches & a Bar-B-Que Caramel Swirl
We'll be serving samples of these flavors on a first-come-first-served basis tomorrow, starting at High Noon —that's 12:30p.m. for all the non-Western film watchers out there.
If these unique flavor profiles have your taste buds on edge, we can't blame you. We asked our Flavor Guru, Eric Fredette, where he pulled the inspiration for each flavor. "It's incredibly cool to partner with Chipotle, especially given our similarities from both working with family farmers, to efforts on values-led sourcing. We looked at some of the more traditional Texas desserts and then thought of different ways to turn them on their head. How do you take a traditional Pecan Pie and spice it up a bit? With a bit of Bourbon of course! How do you take something that is usually nothing but pure sweetness, like Peach Cobbler, and create a completely new eating experience? We’ve created something really unique by taking peaches and combining them with Ancho Chiles, which creates a really warm peach flavor. Then we dialed it up a bit with some sweet heat by mixing in a little bar-b-que sauce with our caramel swirl."
Cultivate is a FREE festival featuring chef demos, live music and interactive activities for all ages. The only things you'll need to pay for is the delicious food and drinks available from local and national likeminded companies. Visit their site for more information.
