5 Fall Recipes to Fall in Love With

Get Your Spoons (And Forks and Cups and Bowls) Ready!

There’s a lot to love about fall: the beautiful foliage, the refreshing chill in the air, those cute cable-knit sweaters, and the coming of comfort food season. It seems that the cooler it is outside, the more we’re inclined to stay in and tinker in the kitchen, whipping up goodies for friends and family. Or just for ourselves, that’s cool, too.

What have we been tinkering with lately, you ask? Oh, just you wait. Here are 5 recipes that we’ve been obsessing over ever since the mercury hit “sweater weather”:

  • Apple Pie À La Mode Punch

All the best parties we’ve been to have had three things in common: a really cool theme, danceable music, and a kickin’ punch. This fall, we’ve got the punch recipe to beat all other punch recipes: one that’s fall-inspired and — you guessed it! — includes ice cream. Or, for parties of one, try this as a float!

  • Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream Pie

You probably already know this, because you’re an awesome ice cream lover like us, but Pumpkin Cheesecake isn’t around all year long. Nope — this seasonal favorite is as ephemeral as the fall foliage. So make the most of its short time in the freezer by whipping up this frozen pumpkin delight and wowing all your friends.

  • Sunday Sundae Waffles

Here’s a tongue twister for you: some sundaes are great on Sundays, but some days are sundae days without being Sundays. Say that 10 times fast while you serve these mind-blowing waffles to your brunch guests and listen to them “ooh” and “aah” over your culinary prowess.

  • Witch's Brew Float

You know us — we have a particular affinity for combining ice cream and coffee. Or coffee ice cream and coffee. Or coffee ice cream and regular ice cream. This particular brew is the perfect perk-up for an evening of riding about on your broom while holding your pointy hat in place.

  • Snickerdoodle Sammies

We’re pretty sure there is no other cookie that’s more fun to say than “snickerdoodle”. Say it with us: snickerdoodle. You’re smiling, aren’t you? And if you’re smiling now, just wait until you’re noshing into a sweet, sweet sammy made with Cinnamon Buns ice cream and sugar cookies. Yeah, you’re going to have aching cheeks after this one.
