Powerful Women, Making Their Mark
It's been a full year since over 4 million people took to the streets all across the country as part of the Women's March. As likely the largest single-day demonstration in recorded US history, this march sent a powerful message: that women are not going to take injustice sitting down. One year on, here's a look back at our favorite signs from the march that brought together activists from every corner of this intersectional movement:
It was about even more than women’s rights.
No matter how young…
… or old.
And even those who were new to the issues.
We needed to be creative . . .
And a little bit wild . . .
Because now is our time.
If not now, when? If not us, who?
We are not alone, and our voices cannot be ignored.
There's no doubt about it: our country is a better place when everyone makes their voice heard for what they believe in. Join 100 women of color leaders and take the #Our100 pledge!
