Let’s go, chocolate lovers! Most sundaes start with a bowl, this one starts with chocolate. Up next? More chocolate. To top it off? Yup, even more chocolate. Grab a pint of Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream or Non-Dairy and whip up the world’s chocolatiest ice cream sundae. Keep it all to yourself or share with a friend!
3 scoops (or more!) of Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream or Non-Dairy
First, make the edible chocolate bowl(s). Blow up one small water balloon for each sundae that you want to make. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Melt chocolate chips and oil in a small bowl in the microwave at 50% power in 30 second increments, stirring in between until melted. Let the chocolate cool for 5 minutes or until it’s no longer warm to the touch.
Spread 1 teaspoon of the chocolate into a small circle on the prepared baking sheet for each sundae. Space them about 4 inches apart if you’re making multiple sundaes. This will form the base of the bowls. Then, holding the knot of each balloon, dip each one into the chocolate to coat the bottom third, shake off the excess, and stand it on top of a chocolate circle. Freeze the tray of chocolate bowls for 20 minutes.
Use a sharp knife or pin to pop the balloon and peel away any pieces of balloon that remain.
Use an offset spatula to scrape each bowl off the parchment paper, then place them on serving plates.
Fill each with as many scoops of Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream or Non-Dairy as you like and garnish with your desired toppings.
Enjoy!
