Here at Ben & Jerry’s, taking action on global climate change has been on our agenda for a long, long time. This year, with the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference in Paris happening this December, it’s priority one. As we put pressure on governments worldwide to pass legally-binding climate action initiatives, we are proud to join a robust group of global food companies in urging policy action on climate change.
After meeting with a bipartisan, bicameral group of U.S. representatives and the French Ambassador for a first-ever discussion on climate change action this week, we are releasing the following letter, signed by our respective Chief Executive Officers, to national and international leaders:
